Anthony J Sargeant is now retired from paid employment but not yet retired from life although that end is clearly getting closer. Tony Sargeant has an interest in a variety of antiques and is at the moment restoring his 17th Century home which he shares with his wife. The antiques he owns form a number of discrete collections. These include: The Islamic Ceramics Collection (this focusses on 11-13th century ceramics although some later pieces including Iznik and Kutahya pieces): The Collection of Antique Chinese Textiles (including chinese robes, skirts, shoes, and rank badges): The Collection of British Art Pottery (including pieces by William de Morgan, Christopher Dresser, Linthorpe Pottery, Pilkington, Poole Pottery, Martin Brothers, Bretby, Burmantofts, Minton, and Doulton): The Collection of Vintage Watches (including some of the earliest Rolex Ladies watches): The Collection of Antigue Carpets, Rugs and Tribal weavings (specialising in tribal and village pile and flat weavings - kelims, bag faces, tent hangings and animal trappings): The Collection of 20th Century Scandanavian Glass: The Collection of Antique English Oak Furniture (includes 17th Century backstools, coffers, tables and court cupboards).
